ETTF autumn 2017 newsletter available for download

The autumn 2017 ETTF newsletter has been published and distributed across Europe and worldwide.

This edition, available below for download, features a report on the completion of the merger of ETTF due diligence information and business contact website Timber Trade Portal with the complementary site of the ATIBT.

It also covers the content of the upcoming International Softwood and Hardwood Conferences in Hamburg and Venice respectively. It reports on an EUTR police investigation in Denmark, and the rise of sustainable timber market share to new heights in the Netherlands.

Included too is an interview with Filip de Jaeger of Belgian federation Fedustria and Viewpoint articles from Samuel Mawutor of Ghana Forest Watch, Sarah Storck of the Independent Market Monitoring Project and Marie Vallée of the World Resources Institute.

The Newsletter also takes a look at the enthusiasm of other countries engaged in the initiative to share in and learn from Indonesia’s FLEGT VPA experience as the first country to achieve FLEGT licensing.
